im nt exactly a fan of Michael Jackson.
and im ashamed to say ive yet to listen to any of his songs seriously.

and yet this morning when i wake up to the news of his death,
im somewhat stunned.

his songs were all over the airwaves this morning, and i actually
heard all of them before and can even sing along to most of them.
i even danced to the tune of Thriller during my jc orientation.

truth is, MJ has impacted us in more ways than one, fans or non fans alike.
you are truly an icon.

while the world mourn your untimely departure,
we celebrate what you have given unto us.

nobody else ever comes close.
