Hualien
woke up rather early to catch the 8am train to hualien.
it was a very comfortable ride. and we slept throughout most
of the trip. xP
and one cabbie came up to us just as we stepped out of the
station and offered to give us a tour to taroko gorge, slightly
cheaper than the official tour.
breakfast.

can u spot the second suspension bridge?
its so freaking high!!!

its v high up ok!

the view is simply magnificent.
u have to be there to be able to feel it.
and we crossed this bridge to visit this temple..
afterwhich, we took to the trail and had to go through a tunnel which
was pitch dark. nt exactly pitch dark cause there were this
whole bunch of sch kids walking on the opp direction as us,
and they were using torches and handphones to lit up the tunnel.
and there were ppl as stupid as asking why were there ppl walking
in the opp direction frm them. -_-
after the tunnel, theres this stretch of road on the cliff. =X
its this wide..
and this tall!!!
the whole SCHOOL of students were walking on the inner side,
which means we gotta take the outer side which just had skinny metal fences to
prevent us frm falling off the cliff. =S
and there was a moment when all of us just got stucked couldnt move at all la.
the students werent moving off either.. and im just right at the edge of the cliff..
so... &^#^&% just flew off my mouth. hahaha

and my greatest fear came true when we went up the
suspension bridge dats open to visitors. =X

act calm.

off to the next bridge..
after taroko gorge, its...

the waves are huge.
at times we were too close and had to run back. lol

had dinner at a singaporean restaurant. but the ba ku teh wasnt
that fantastic.. xP there wasnt much to shop arnd, and we
bought some mua chees back. x)
all the pavements in hualien are laid with marbles..
