and the 3-hr bus ride to training base starts...now

reached at daybreak and the day begins right after breakfast.
Welcome to the 80-Men Bunk!
and we were allocated the corridor beds =X
its so freaking hot and theres so many ppl walking past us
the first day was freaking long man. it must b the jet lag. hahah.
eventhough THAI's just one hr behind SIN.
the weather is unbearably hot!
but thankfully, other than the first day of our component training,
it was drizzling all day and night during the other trainings
and all throughout the exercise. phew~ if nt i'll die in my self scrape. hahah!
well it has to b like this i guess, otherwise Alpha wuldnt b known as Rain God.LOL
cause it never fails to rain durin our exercises in Spore.

Sabre 08
The days went by incredibly fast during exercise.
and when ur out in the fields, u dun actually feel dat ur in thailand.
the trees are all the same. haha. except for some of the very scenic views
of the mountains and hills nearby while we're travelling.
and the thai villagers are EVERYWHERE selling food and stuffs.
but we were nt allowed to buy any thing frm them, technically~
and the ice cream seller we saw at our component training was rocking
out to the tunes of Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love la. hahha.
everybody went wild at the end of our last mission. all of us were
soaking wet after we blasted each other with the jet pipes. even the
anchorage ppl at the bank side wasnt spared. loll.
Post Sabre
exercise came and gone and its SLACK time! woohoo
doing some minor wash ups and maintenance

although there're tonnes of maintenance work to b done back in spore.
and i had this crazy moment..
we were at the canteen, and decided to open a carton of beer,
but we somehow ended up with 37bottles dats like a little more than 3 cartons. HAHAH. and u can only spam beer like this in thailand. all of us were of course drunk, i was drunk for the first time in my life btw. lol. my head felt damn light and i couldnt even walk straight. afterwhich we headed back to our bunk, and on the way i commented that there were lots of stars in the sky and then split seconds later, my sgt was lying on the floor gazing at the stars. lol. moments later, my fren was puking at the side of the road. haha we're finally back in bunk and we went on to take a shower. the guys went completely crazy in the toilet and attempted to throw our ps into the water tank. our co just had to b arnd at tt time and he shouted at us. and b4 i knew wad happened, we all gotta fall in in smart 4. can u imagine dat? changing into smart 4 while ur still drunk? we falled in and got reprimanded for unsafe conduct. xP did a few push ups and then was in crunches position throughtout. haha. and some couldnt take it and puked after we fall out. we were all slapped with an alcohol ban afterwards. hahha.
i knw dat sounded serious, but its actually qt an experience. hah. as in who gets to change into smart4 to fall in when ur drunk? and den get pumped personally by ur CO? hahaha
ok, we shall take comfort at that we're probably the one and only grp frm our unit to do so =X

there were just too much ppl over there. a cool 800 over.
plus we were all banned frm alcohol, haha, so we headed back
bunk instead. and wad to do when ur bored in bunk? you camwhore!

Our Shirts
we customised 2 polo tees and one tshirt.
one polo was for the men, the other was for ppl in the Raft.
and the tshirt was for the anchorage ppl.

part of the reason we chose orange was really because we're
travelling on Jetstar! HAH

dun worry, its nt R21, its just the camp logo which i tink its better nt shown =P
Last Dinner at Canteen
i absolutely dig their lychee freeze! its like i came to thailand
missing sweettalk, and i go back singapore missing the canteen's freeze! haha
their tomyam soup was another favourite x)
alright, thats it frm me nw, shall blog abt the R&R on the next post.
ps. the mineral water they sell in camp are overkill! its priced at 20baht,
while u can get it for as low as 5baht outside!! =l
