last week has been a bad week.
cause my dad was involved in a traffic accident.
a motorcycle slammed onto his cab at a road junction.
he was speeding through red light while being chased by the police.
he died on the spot.

my dad's cab skidded and hit onto some tress (small ones la) before slowing down to hit
onto the wall of a condo. i cant imagine if it was a monsoon drain by the side
of the road instead or sth.

my dad suffered two broken ribs, and injuries to his eyes.
his eyes was hurt by the glass which shattered upon the collision.
but luckily his vision was not affected.
imagine the pain in his eyes. its already painful enough when ur eyelashes
got into ur eyes. and now, glass pieces. =X
but thankfully his recovery was well and hes now back at home recouperating.

it angers me at the thought of how irresponsible that motorist can be.
riding a bike so recklessly and without a lisence somemore.
getting himself killed and hurting innocent ppl in the process.
two other ppl were also injured during the accident.

so i urge everyone to drive or ride safely on the roads and be a responsible
road user. tink about your family, tink about the other road users and their families too.

and the other thing which angers me is the service provided by ttsh.
my dad was admitted to the A&E at ttsh after the accident.
but after he was attended to, they left him lying at the A&E while waiting for a place in the wards, on a bed full of shattered glass from the accident! he was freaking lying on them!
and nobody came to clear the glass off until my mum came! she informed the nurse
about it but nobody did anything!!! so my mum had to sweep the glass off herself!
just wad the f**k are those ppl doing?!
letting an injured man lie on a bed full of shattered glass to wad? sustain more injuries?!

and my dad had to wait freaking half a day before some doctor is available to get the
shattered glass pieces out from hes eyes! wad crap!
his discharge from the hospital was also delayed a day. cause he had to get his
eye checked again before he culd go. but the nurse was not available and thus we waited.
but by the time the nurse was free, the doctor went home! so he can only be discharged
the next day. URGH. im so freaking pissed and disappointed with ttsh.

ok. im just glad that my dad was alright after the accident and is able to
return home albeit with some injuries.

rmb, be responsible and careful on the roads ppl.
