life in unit is freaking depressing. especially during the first few days.
all i can tink abt was the days back in tekong.
everything i did reminded me of my platoon mates. like how we used to help one another take drinks during every meal.
even the living conditions are much better in tekong.
and tekong was a much livelier place with so many companies around.
whereas here, all u can experience is the tranqulity of the camp.
and the sergeants there didnt leave a very good impression either~

but it got much better as the days go by and as i get to talk to and know more ppl.
and i felt much better after knowin dat they were gg thru the same ting as me. some were even at the verge of breakin down la.

luckily the whole unit is involved in tis yr's NDP.
so we get to go down to the floating platform every thurs and sat for rehearsals.
so dats 2 days of trainin on tues and wed, ndp rehearsal on thu, another day of trainin on fri and ndp again on sat.
sun and mon's our off days. hehs.
at least i am able to go out and take a breather during ndp rehearsals.
i wonder how i'll cope if i were to be cooped up in camp for 5 days straight.
