the two things i detest the most in mawai - leeches and mud. well, leeches are ok lahs, juz dat they look n feel a lil disgusting, good ting is that it doesnt hurt or anythin when they starts to suck ur blood, haha, they damn pro la, can suck thru my socks somemore. power sia. and yes, MUD, there mud mud and more mud all over the campsite!!! whether its to the toilets or the kitchen, we all gotta travel on mud filled routes, cuz its been rainin everyday ever since we got there. sighs. n my feet are never clean throughout the camp la, bath finish liao my feet will get all muddy by the time i got back to the living quarters. =l
DAY 1 - reached mawai in the afternnon and its rainin~ gotta walk all the way in to take the boat to cross the river over to the campsite. hahas, it was damn cold la, all of us were shivering as we walk. ha. in the end no choice but to take our jackets out. den we went to set up our beds, actually i dun need to, cuz i took the ready-made ones. hahahs. =P followed by lunch, den swamp walk. it was quite fun, learned and tasted quite a few tings, hahas, some leaves are really tasty man. i rmb there's one which tasted sth like apple. haha. but cant rmb the name. and yea, i've also learnt that i can throw litters anywhere i like while in the forest as long as its biodegrable. wahahaha..

DAY 2 - Audeline trail and water obstacles. hmmm.. saw some bunkers along the trail and went inside one of them, nth much to see oso la. cuz its dark inside, somemore didnt torchlight along. haha. so went in for fun nia. =P den walked and walked and walked. finally went back to the campsite for lunch. water obstacles was fun!! hahas. it was rainin somemore, but heck la, we're all gettin wet anyway. failed my first obstacle thou, its the one with the floating barrels. hahahs. n none of the ppl hu went after me succeedded in tis obstacle too. hehs.
DAY 3 - conquering G. Panti. loll.. the climb up was damn tiring, its the first time i sweated like mad in mawai, hahas. Panti was abt 500+m high i guess, n the view frm the summit was breadth taking! =) the climb up the cliff juz b4 we reach the summit was fun too. hahas. finally found a chance to put my rock climbin skills to use. had a couple of leech bites and my socks are all bloody. the decend was a very very long journey compared to the climb up. gotta climb down a rock wall which seems neverending sia. the fog which set in juz when its abt to rain made the forest looked damn nice la, like scenes frm the movie liddat. hahas. den, after a loooooooooooooong walk, we finally reached the pick up point to wait for the coach to fetch us back to the campsite.

DAY 4 - almost dead. went to johor lama to look at the patch of grass nia, were the cannons were placed. den, over to the kota tinggi museum. finally real buildings and aircon!! luckily the second level was unavailable due to blackout. or else we're gonna stay there longer, which means a later lunch and gg home later. yay, damn lucky. hahs. had lunch over at kota tinggi city centre, woo~ finally get to taste junk food at marybrown. haha. been havin the urge to drink cold soft drinks ever since day 2. woah, the feelin of finally being able to drink dat was indescribable! hehs. after that, its home SWEET home, finally!!

yups. tis is definitely one hell of an experience and its also once in a lifetime too~ cuz i will never ever choose to go back there again in my life. HAHAHAS.
and yes!! im going to msia tis wed again!! together with my cousins. hehs. at least tis time im going to the more developed side of msia - genting highlands! woohoo. its wayy better than mawai. loll.. a REAL hol trip at last! hahs.
